If you wandered over to court No. 11 at Mercer County Park late Sunday afternoon, you might have seen a pile of sweaty shirts on the ground. Those belonged to Ramapo’s Lukas Choi.

Choi, a 5-8 seed, battled to win his fourth round match of the NJSIAA state singles tournament over 9-16 seed Max Lustgarten, 3-6, 6-4, (10-7). Once Choi, went on the attack, he was able to turn the match around. The senior who is headed to Villanova also beat 17-32 seed Alex Berina of Don Bosco Prep earlier in the day in the third round.
