The 2021 NJSIAA boys tennis state singles and doubles tournaments got going on Saturday at Mercer County Park in West Windsor and at Hamilton Veterans Park.
The opening two rounds for singles were split between the two parks to keep things moving along while just the first round of the much shorter doubles tournament was held at Vets.

The biggest upset of the day occurred at Vets as Rumson-Fair Haven’s second singles defeated 5-8-seeded Brenden McDonald from Summit in the second round and he came back to do so, 2-6, 7-5, (10-5).
